Wilder than the wilderness, even our last big experience in the Pantanal. While the nature of a never-before-seen species richness offered, provided the tour we had booked for an experienced, well-read and perfect English speaking Pantanalfuehrer so much incompetence, irresponsibility, lies and deficiencies as we had experienced before and never! Our 'English speaking guide' spoke neither English nor English and knew little notice, another leader was run over by a truck and everything else for our accommodation was ready emergencies were Harald's first aid kit and a tourist who was randomly nurse, and for activities such as piranha fishing, rumors of six meters long and Anacondas daily walks past the hundreds of caimans, finally capsized zwei der viel zu alten, undichten Kanus und die von Panik ergriffenen 'Stadtler' aus unserer Gruppe mussten ohne Schwimmweste eine Stunde lang im von Gefahren verseuchten Wasser schwimmen bevor die Boote vom Grund geholt und ihre Hilferufe nicht mehr nur als reiner Spass verstanden wurden.
Schockiert ueber die beaengstigenden Zustaende und enttaeuscht ueber unsere Wahl wollten wir das Camp bereits einen Tag eher verlassen, aber dafuer haetten wir zusaetlich bezahlen muessen und so blieben wir halt bis zum Ende, wo alle ziemlich aufgebracht aber erleichtert climbed into the truck for the city.
offers this nature in the Pantanal so much incredible and it would have only little used to make a great experience from it. Most animals we saw namely if we just quietly lay in a hammock (an armadillo we came pretty close, various parrot species, Greifvoegel, kingfishers), or sat on a bridge and the sunrise waited (tens jabirus, an anteater, groups of storks, rare giant otters, monkeys, caimans and of course, and, and).
'Wild Life', which could not be guaranteed, we saw so en masse, the interesting statement as to for which we had paid, we will probably have to raise themselves. Wild!
