young world travelers, who were still at the beginning of their adventure and Europe flown to Buenos Aires, were disappointed we had something before 'warning', as though the city but european - (! you would probably better to start in India) do not exactly what they wanted. Also we were in Buenos Aires in front of a large Italian city (but us - the end of our trip - was disturbing the less), for kitchen, temperament, and streetscape Fussballfanatismus betrayed the Italian Ancestry of most residents. But - consciously or unconsciously - we were tourists also offered what we really expected from Argentina for little money we could eat bloody steaks, while demonstrating the butchers union for a relaxation of export laws, everywhere in shopping streets, there are tango shows and sell for some money people even their grandfather to dance-loving tourists (it really does not care).
Buenos Aires seemed touristy and relatively safe, but I have to say that one can choose as a tourist, part of which picture of the city you love to see would like, for a single bridge divides - or connects - the posh Recoleta district, the expensive hotels and boutiques, with the slums, the look like a bombed village, and the Strassenkuenstler that during the day to keep the masses amused look, less entertaining, when they juggle the form of 10-year-old girl by two clock in the morning to cross streets and beg for money. Overall, we
saw during our time in Buenos Aires but less misery than expected, more striking was the Polizeipraesenz throughout the city. So it was totally safe to walk through the notorious district of Boca, take pictures with a Maradonadouble and visit the football stadium - but it was warned not to stray off the tourist Caminito!
Just when we felt so comfortable and decided in one of the luxurious buses in Argentina continue my (european ! Buses are not mind) but it happened: Harald just explored the huge bus station, when I heard a man and asked for any information. I felt the whole thing as a diversion and so I turned to the safe side for our pockets. Only then I realized how another man wanted to make off with one of our bags. I cried for him and probably because some turned around for him but he dropped my bag and disappeared into the crowd. Out of fear, the other next to me now could steal one of our other bags, I dared not immediately run to my backpack. Only when they had both made it inconspicuously, I gathered up our bags and waited with a beating heart of Harald.
