This is what 'Green Track', a company that offers tours to the Pantanal, 'boldly' says about themselves. The italic comments in between are what we really experienced staying four days and three nights at their accomodation in the wilderness.
With 18 years experience in the Pantanal, Green Track offers unmatched expertise in exploring the region and its wildlife.
It's unbelievable how they can still be that bad after 18 years! Completely unprofessional, utterly irresponsible and simply life threatening!
The Original way of visiting the Pantanal starts when you are looking for quality programs ...
It actually starts at the bus stop where you are harassed by several operators who try to convince you to follow their call right away.
... and experienced and enthusiastic people ...
I can vividly remember the enthusiastic comment of the guide when seeing the sunrise: "Look sun, you see? Sun is up, let's go back!"
... to show you and teach not only about the animals and plants ...
"Look there, bird! Look, this tree!"
... but to make you understand also about the local history, ecology ...
???
... and the high light: The local skills of understanding and feeling the amazing nature that only the Pantaneiros can show you.
I'm still wondering what these skills actually are. But nature is truely amazing!

With our carefully organised trips ...
One man run over by a truck, two out of three canoes capsized and people had to swim in waters full of piranhas, caimans and anacondas, 6 hours from the closest hospital and no first aid kid available ... to mention only a few. I wouldn't wanna be with them if they organise a trip without care!
